Online booking and cancellation

Online Bookings
Online bookings are subject to guide availability and other factors such as weather and climbing conditions.
After receiving your online booking, we will get back to you within 1 business day via phone or email to confirm your booking.
In the event that we cannot accommodate your booking, you have the option of having your deposit refunded or applied to a future booking.
Payment
Boulder Mountain Guiding accepts credit cards, Venmo, checks, and cash.
50% of the course deposit is due at time of booking by credit card. The remainder of the payment is due at time of the course/trip
Tips are not expected but appreciated. Thank you for helping to make guiding a sustainable profession.
Cancellation Policies (rewrite!!)
Weather: Our courses operate rain or shine. However, if the guide deems it unsafe or impractical to proceed with the scheduled outing, we will offer the following options:
Rescheduling: We will prioritize rescheduling your trip to the earliest available date that suits your convenience, subject to guide availability and operational constraints.
Credit: If rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a credit for the full amount paid, valid for one year from the original date of the canceled outing. The credit can be applied towards any future bookings with Alpine to the Max.
Refund: If rescheduling or credit is not feasible, we will provide a refund for the affected portion of the service.
Client Canceled Day: If you, as the client, need to cancel a scheduled outing, we understand that circumstances beyond your control may arise. We request that you provide us with as much advance notice as possible. In the event of client cancellation, the following options will be available:
Rescheduling: We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred rescheduled date, subject to guide availability and operational constraints.
Credit: We will apply credit to your account according to the timetable below.
Refund: Refunds for client-canceled days will be subject to the following conditions:
Cancellation requests made more than 30 days before the scheduled service will be eligible for a full refund. Minus a 5% processing fee.
Cancellation requests made between 15 and 29 days before the scheduled service will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
Cancellation requests made within 14 days of the scheduled service are not eligible for a refund.
Company Canceled Day: In the very unlikely event that Alpine to the Max needs to cancel your, we will make every effort to provide advance notice. In such cases, we will offer the following options to affected clients:
Rescheduling: We will prioritize rescheduling your trip to the earliest available date that suits your convenience. If you are unable to reschedule, the options below will apply.
Credit: We will issue a credit equal to the full amount paid, which can be used for any future bookings with Alpine to the Max. The credit will be valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance.
Full refund: If rescheduling or credit is not feasible for you, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid for the canceled service.
CANCELLATIONS
If you have to cancel your booking, please give us as much notice as possible.
If you cancel 30+ days before the booking, we’ll apply the deposit/payment towards another booking at a later date or you can request a refund.
If you cancel from 14-29 days before the booking, we’ll apply the deposit/payment towards another booking at a later date.
If you cancel 13 days or sooner from the booking, for any reason, the deposit/payment is forfeited.
WEATHER & CONDITIONS
Winter courses/trips are rain or shine.
If SMG cancels a booking due to weather, we will reschedule you for an alternate date of your choice.
